@m.s. first off bro when you refuse to make any type of consession to make a fight you cannot scream duck when you dont get fights, second Jacobs never win a title until after GGG and even then it was a title that was stripped from Canelo and a vacant title.. he did beat Lemieux the guy who also won a vacant title and lost it in his very next fight to GGG you want to know what all 3 have in common none if them have a win of note.
No we can go back and forth about semantics but the fighters you claim GGG can beat Canelo actually beat then he beat GGG ass to top it off.
Now I've seen Canelo go up in weight go down in weight take less money and give in to opponents demands to make fights, when has GGG ever done that.
Since the first fight Canelo has fought 3 straight Champs and won titles in 3 different division GGG has fought Roll, Dervanchencko, and Szermeta... ask GGG about fighting Andrade or Charlo or Suanders or anybody good not named Canelo and all you get is ducks...
Ggg has not beaten 1 solid contender in his career and his best wins have all been beaten in better fashion by other opponents didn't Cotto demolish Geale better than GGG didn't Jacibs have a 50/50 fight with GGG yet got dominated by Canelo.. yall need to live in reality GGG is a damn hypejob and is no different from Charlo, or any of these other half ass fighters fighting nobodies begging for a payday

Yall GGG fans is too emotional yall dont know this man to be riding his meat like that making excuses. I used to be a fan discovered him around the Steens fight and thought he would be a real fighter heard the 54-68 talk and felt he would be a good ambassador to the sport and then guys like Lara and Trout called him out and.... crickets... then guys like Ward called him out again.... crickets... saw Cotto say that if GGG wanted to negotiate on weight like the REAL Champ Martinez did he would fight and GGG balked, seen Canelo a JMW say the same thing and again he balked saw him almost destroy the Jacob's fight because he was being s diva and didn't want to pay his opponent, I saw him consistantly make excuses to fight the Wade's and ,Monres, of the world and reality set in this boy is a FRAUD I dont see how self respecting fans praise him but then again considering how weak this generation is its not many options to choose from.

GGG won both fights against Canelo, but the second one was a very close fight that could have gone either way.

GGG won both fights by 116-112

The bias commentary in the second fight in favour of canelo brainwashed a lot of people into
    thinking Canelo won.

    @m.s.

Man the majority of this site make excuses for GGG fighting fighters like Szermeta also, and are cool with him ducking any good fighter not named Canelo.
You still spouting this most feared mess let's me know that a lot of yall opinions are irrelevant, I've debated with fans who claim GGG won and watched them call clear misses landed punches. If GGG is so great like you claim why did he force a mandatory vs a guy nobody has heard of instead of fighting ANY TYPE of champion or title holder.
How do you explain last year when Canelo asked him to beat a Champ and he balked and waited til he got a vacant title shot vs a guy whose claim to fame is a loss, arguably loss that fight then turned around and scream he's a champ..

Yall silly bro you talking about degrading ita facts, Murray what has he done but lose to good fighters, what has Lemieux done besides win a vacant title and lose in his very first defense what has Monroe done or Wade. What has Dervanchenko done beside lose tough fights, Jacobs beat Quillin and who? Rubio who tf has Rubio beaten. Maybe the great WW brook is what we should be impressed by.. name me 1 actual high quality fighter he's beaten yall holding on to him getting a draw vs Canelo then getting beat down in fight II.
If he was soo ducked at 160 and champs were calling him out at 68 why didn't he try to unify 168.
Even the "defense record" yall bash fighters like Fielding or Murata as not being real Champ but wanna praise GGG for defending that same secondary title and not becoming an ACTUAL CHAMPION until 2014 vs Geale, who got blown out by a blown up WW 2 fights later

Considering the fact that Cotto was willing to fight GGG if he negotiated like Martinez and Geale did both of those fighters were far more accomplished at the time so why didn't GGG... you can call Cotto scared and all the excuses you want but the only difference between Martinez,Geale, and GGG was that they negotiated and GGG refused so they got the fight. That's facts for you

Where did Lara and Trout call him out? On Facebook or Twitter? That sounds official. I wish he did fight them just to watch them get beat down, not to prove he can beat them, I already know that. Also, you don't need to fight everybody that brings your name up on Facebook for the sake of name dropping. Talk about a self respecting fan, Who can support a convicted PED cheat, and someone who wins decisions by making it to the final bell? I've been a boxing fan from the 1980's to present. I have liked many Great fighters over the years and Golovkins just one of them.

Jacobs had the secondary belt like Fielding did when GGG beat him. GGG KOED Geal in three,Cotto took four. Jacobs KOED Peter Ouillin in one round, that's pretty notable. The only common apponent they have is Jacobs, and Jacobs lost to both. I don't need to cut Canelo down to make me feel better. Everybody but a hand full of people believe Golovkin won one if not both fights. Think about this, Canelo couldn't legitimately defeat this half assed over hyped fighter you speak of. Canelo is ranked pfp #1 based off his illegitimate win over GGG.

First off, I would rather see GGG fight someone better than Szeremeta, but he is 38 and coming off of a real tough fight, and is also getting used to his new trainer. He is a great and experienced boxer and I trust his judgement. Second off,Golovkin don't have to do anything Canelo asked him to do 'like go win a belt' Golovkin is an established star that should still be champ. John Skipper is forcing Canelo to fight GGG otherwise he would be looking to cherry pick somewhere else. Also Golovkin never screamed he's champ, who do you think he is Mayweather? Also at this point Derevyanchenko just might be the tougher than an over trained wore out Kovalev. As for Murray, nobody has ever done Murray the way GGG done him, before or after. Not even big punching 168lbs champs like Abraham or Groves. Of coarse Lemieux is going to lose his first title defense, it was against GGG.He beats everybody but the judge certified Canelo. As for the 168lbs champs calling him out, only Ward did after GGG signed to fight Lemieux, Then he quickly moved up to win a robbery over Kovalev. Better Kovalev than GGG.
Now as for GGG becoming champ in 2014 by beating Geale? GGG became WBA super champ at the beginning of 2013 before the Rosado bout because Geale had just unified the IBF & WBA SUPER with Sturm. Geale quickly vacated his WBA SUPER to avoid his mandatory GGG, Then GGG became WBA super at that point. Later in 2014 Geale Challenged GGG for his belts and got what he tried to avoid the first time. He got destroyed in three. As for Cotto, well you didn't see Hagler coming down for Leonard or Hearns did you. GGG was the dominant middleweight champion, he wasn't desperate as you all like to claim after all. Wow do you haters like to twist things.Next you probably try to impeach GGG.

I can pick apart this whole post but something tells me you'll just make more excuses, the fact that you said dervanchenko the guy with 15 fights and 2 L already is better than Kovalev let's me know that you aren't to be taken seriously and quite honestly why most GGG fans shouldn't be taken seriously.
You arguing off emotions and being a fan Canelo could lose tomorrow and I wouldn't lose sleep would just give props to who beat him but yall got 1,000 excuses and reasons why he dont have to fight this guy or that guy.

It's funny Canelo is the biggest star in sport yet still has gone up and down in weight given up money and gave in to opponents demands I guess he did that because he was desperate right smh. I guess guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao were desperate since they given up concession to make big fights also in fact every GREAT fighter in history at some point has made a consession to be great I guess they was all desperate and GGG they guy with the resume of a prospect was noble and smart lmao.

First fight was close, GGG edged it by a round on my card. Draw was acceptable. Second fight was a clear as day win for Canelo. Golovkin was pushed back and beaten up, fought like a scared rabbit. Even Abel Sanchez admitted he lost.

GGG fought on the back foot , thinking, backing up and punching. On the other hand in the Canelo looked like a deer in the headlights on his bike the 1st fight. Fighters reversed rolls to some extent in both fights, that is what makes a 3rd interesting. Canelo grew a set but still lost the 1st fight and possibly the 2nd.

Funny how the Canelo lovers / GGG haters have steered far away from this thread.

The fight as a draw for me. First 3 and last 3 can be all argued for Canelo. Don't see how there's a clear case for Golovkin winning easily when the dynamite he carries in both hands would have clearly had an effect on Canelo if he was boxing him up all throughout the fight.

The cold reality is Golovkin couldn't hit Canelo with anything but jabs , most of which were dodged and slipped.
Canelo took his his arsenal away while he himself landed with variation to Glovkins body and head.
Defense and accurate punch selection is more notable to the judges than just popping jabs. Golovkin doesn't get credit for having a granite chin for no reason. He took more solid shots from Canelo then Canelo took from him.
