Wlad would have beaten fury in the rematch. Joshua imo kos fury. Usyk is quite small, but he has all the tools to beat tyson.
I think the Haye of 09 would have been an interesting contest for any version of Fury. Although I could see a repeat of Wilder 2, peak Haye combined Cruiserweight mobility with very heavy hands and I think that is basically the combination to beat the Gypsy King
Call me weird but I'm going to say a defensive counter puncher could beat Fury (Not many at HW). Someone who had decent reach, a piston jab and could set traps for Fury (*Cough, Cough* Ali).
We have seen Fury be knocked down, so a big puncher has a chance. But they can't be a low Ring IQ big puncher like Wlad or Wilder. They need to be able to adapt and counter punch, brawl if need be. Would need some reach to land the punches. Lennox Lewis would be the guy. But not many Lennox Lewis's just hanging around. Vitali would give Fury heck too. In the past, Fury had trouble with smaller guys, but if he keeps up with the Kronk training, Kronk style eats smaller guys up. A smaller guy would need to be some sort of power punching James Toney to pull it off. Never seen a fighter like that.
Problem with Ali is he doesn't hit hard enough. And I don't see any man 6 inches shorter than modern day Fury beating him on points. Fury can be knocked out by someone who hits hard enough but who also isn't too bothered by periods of frustration. That's what made me think of prime Haye and in particular the Valuev fight. Sure Valuev is no ATG but Haye really did put on a masterclass of sorts in that fight. If he'd managed to KO him in the final round like he nearly did it would have been a 10/10 In a sense Wilder ticks both these boxes but his appalling fundamentals means he was unable to avoid Fury when Fury chose to chase him down
The three hardest punchers of the last 25 years (Wlad, Bootleg D and Price), and they're indeed three of the hardest hitters of all time too, couldn't knock him out so we know for a fact that power cannot defeat The Gypsy King and no one in their right mind is going to try and argue a case for slickness beating the slickest HW of all time. Even the trolls aren't that dumb. So yeah, there is no ''blue print'' to beat him.
Let's be serious for a moment. No one realistically has a chance of beating Tyson Fury. Except himself. If he just had a little more on that self uppercut he may have gone, but no one else would be able to do it.
LOL, you're actually claiming Wilder was totally past it? He's fresh as a daisy for a 40 fight fighter. Fury has had 200 proffesional rounds of fighting, Wilder has only 150.
LOL, he's beaten a very limited Wilder and an ancient Wlad. Let's seem him beat a skilled puncher in his prime. There tons of guys 6'4"-6'8" who can box and hit these days. I would not write off Joyce from backing Fury up and taking him out. Fury's power is nothing special, and he's ability to take it is nothing special. I'm not sure what type of body shot he can take either. I'm not saying Fury isn't good, rather he's far from unbeatable.
Whats so funny Wlad at 38/39 was viewed as being unbeatable just like his brother was at the same age. Nobody gave Haye a chance to beat 39 year old Vitali and nobody gave Fury a chance of beating a 39 yer old Wlad. Vitali finished his win streak at 41 and Wlad would have done the same had he not ran into Fury.
