Pac acting like a real P4P #1 and taking a risk he doesnt have to. What balls Valero is dangerous and kind of an uknown quantity, who knows what Valero can do thats what makes this fight exciting, Good for the fans and good for boxing.
All these negative comments about Valero being too "green" or whatever are very similar to the ones that were spouted about Pacman when he fought Barrera the first time. We all know what happened there. His speed and power were enough to compensate for his lack of opposition. Valero's power will be enough too. And lets not discount his victory over Mosquera (he did beat the real 3-K Battery, not the one that Pacman fought, who is an "A" level fighter), who is/was a very good fighter. Valero is without a doubt a better fighter than Diaz. People forget Diaz was getting owned by Cruz until he caught him with a great shot and he went life and death with a completely faded Morales. This fight should be a barn burner and I'm picking Valero by 5th round stoppage with both fighters hitting the canvas at least once.
THAT'S the spirit of a true blue fan! :good If and when it happens that pac fights valero. Would ou be interested with a three, four, five six months ban? name it! More than willing to accomodate your suggestion regarding the bet!
I can see Valero being able to KO Pac if he can hit him. The questions for me is can Valero take Pacs punches which he is no doubt going to have to take in order to land his . Has Velero been tested chin wise ? if so can you tell which fight so I can check it out thanks.
I just don't get this. Recently everyone has been talking about Pacquiao as though he is some sort of invincible God. Pac has been on the canvas on several occasions and KO'ed more than once....Valero has more than decent power and therefore must have a chance. A UD or SD to either fighter would be the outside bet, and I am going to go against the flow and say Valero early KO.
The only fight he got his chin really tested was against Vicente Mosquera, he was dropped and hurt badly in round 3 by a series of punches.
Let me just rephrase that . . . Valero will sleep against Paquiao. There . . . it sounds better. :good
OMG I really need to go to bed. For a while there I thought I read it as "Valero will sleep with Pacquiao" :-( :dead
A boxer who knocked out his first 24 opponents should never be taken lightly, even if they were nobodies. Every boxer fighters nobodies during the early part of their career and rarely knocks them all out. Maybe Valero really is a dangerous fighter who hasn't been given a chance to prove his skills. Time will tell, but I still side with Pacquiao.
