Tyson Fury actually is very boring , apart from his last fight I can’t remember him being in any exciting fights .

Wlad was boring because he was the bigger, faster, stronger more skilled fighter and still fought overly cautious against guys he should have walked through. Fury is an unathletic oaf with size and reach taking over a bums and old men division.

His style was boring because he would never have to get out of second gear for anyone thats how dominant he was.
Would it have been better if his head was almost taken clean off his head like every second Joshua fight? Or maybe losing every round like Wilder only to be saved by a hard right in every fight. How about like Fury who was almost KOd in his previous Wilder encounter only to survive by a hair on a bees dicck and not too mention almost stopped by the great Otto Wallin?
I guess greatness can be seen as boring to the haters and I admit watching the current crop of subpar heavyweights is kind of entertaining

Yes. I am nostalgic for that comforting feeling of falling asleep during Wlady's fights.

So nice knowing that I would wake up to see that he won another one.

I didn't watch much heavyweight when they fought. Heavyweight isnt a particularly dynamic division and with dominant champions, not much changes. Variety is the Spice of life.

Wlad was one of the very greatest and most dominant fighters in the division's history. If yoi don't like him, you don't like excellence.

Wlad was a good puncher with a weak chin.
He lasted so long by being defensive and holding way too much.
Refs never seemed to call him on that.
Vitali was a lesser puncher but with a better chin.
He got guys out but by a cumulative effect.
    Both were less than exiting.

If Wlad had a week chin then what the hell does AJ, Fury and Wilder have? All of them have been dropped like sacks of potatoes in their last two fights.

Now imagine how amazingly exciting and skilled they would be rated if they just were American!
