Bud will need to be on his A game as Kell will have some advantages in this one. He will be a live under dog
Well, big in relative terms. I imagine Bob would be looking to make it the most aggressive promotion of Bud's career thus far – he'll certainly be pushing Brook's credentials as a former 147lb champ and talking up the threat level he represents, highlighting the opportunity Bud has to compare himself with two of PBC's leading welterweight lights (Porter and Spence). Kell can get at least a decent payday out of it, and the rewards are big if he pulls off the upset; Sky will push Crawford as the P4P #1, and unseating the advertised best in the sport would greatly rejuvenate Kell's stock in the UK. I don't see another fight out there with as much to offer him, either directly or consequently. If I'm in Brook's shoes, I go for it.
Offered him 3 mill to fight Crawford in 2019 and he never even called to say no. Danny, the Mummy, Garcia wants NO piece of Crawford. Especially after he and he entourage ran their mouth about beating Crawford as an amateur. Everyone knows you do NOT want to **** Crawford off.
I understand the negativity for this fight but at this point Im happy to see Crawford fight anyone of note... if that has to be a Brook thats past his best, then so be it.
Bud is odd on fav for this tbh. Poor Special K Brook is not the same since he had his head caved in by GGG. +judges will favour Bud, kell will need a KO tbh to get a sniff at the win.
