Here's why I picked Tucker over the pair of them: Spinks is a very good boxer, with a nice resume. I just feel like, skill for skill Louis is better in every way. Better combos on the inside, mored educated jab, better head movement, more balanced, more powerful, more tested etc. If he boxes with Louis he loses, if he brawls with Louis he loses, IMO Obviously I'm not saying Tucker is better than Spinks, I just think that his style would cause problems, he's fundamentally fairly soind, at his best, moves well off of the jab, and, he's 6'5 with a good chin. I feel that all of these add up to a tough night for Louis. Idk why, but picking Buster Douglas in this, feels like betting on 99/1 horse because you saw a glint in it's eye at the stables, for me anyway.
A mod in the Lounge basically banned me because he felt that I was too argumentative and that I asked people too many questions about their views in ways that were intended to expose and embarrass them. He's ok with me posting in here though.
Louis should be a strong favorite over all those men, but it is a very tough lineup for any fighter to work their way through. Louis would have tough fights along the way, and he would get drawn into deep waters at some point, as he was by his real world title opponents.
I do find some of the rules confusing in this forum. We can discuss brutal fights and post clips of fighters getting beaten to death but you get banned for 3 weeks for swearing...
Cmon. I can mention fighters to trouble Louis but he is the clear favourite against this list of guys
Boxing technique improved and developed after Louis's era. Allot of those guys control Louis with their superior, longer, faster, rangier jabs. Louis jabs short, which is easy to outjab No maybe he catches upto some of them but in terms of boxing, allot would outbox him.
