They’re both fighting the same level guys now, how long has tank been fighting these b level guys for now? Wasn’t but a year ago that Ryan looked like he didn’t know the basics, now they’re fighting the same guys. Who is really the one being saved for later?
Tank has won 3 world title belts defeating 3 world champions or former world champions as well as defended against contenders. Don’t believe all the rubbish spouted. People call him out but not keen to get in there with him. There is a reason for that.
Fine, but let’s stick to the subject. Out of those champions and contenders, which one is his best achievement? Let’s see how he compares to the guys Ryan is beating, and to the rest of the names out there.
Garcia's looks make him seem frail but then he shows that big power and you are like wtf did that come from? I'd like to see more of him to better assess his power at the highest level.
This. Garcia is not being saved for the future if he’s fighting the likes of linares next, Tank if anything has been held back ages by Mayweather
The man nearly went the distance with Gamboa's corpse his last fight, and you say he'd beat Ryan, like it's a foregone conclusion. If Tank doesn't get his act straight soon, I honestly see him losing to guys worse than Ryan.
You can check his record easily but I must say the his performance against Pedraza and Liam Walsh stand out especially the manner of victory. He got some criticism for the Gamboa fight which I don’t share because Gamboa is a really good fighter and his stoppage of him was impressive 3 knockdowns and knockout. The way people are talking you would think Gamboa a world champion and Olympic gold medalist was a punk someone who gave Crawford his toughest fight to date. The truth is that Tank has beaten lots of top fighters like Cuellar as well another world champion. Look at the way Tank dealt with Pedraza and compare it to the way Lomachenko dealt with Pedraza. I know for a fact Haymon, Mayweather and Ellerbe wanted Tank to have more experience before he puts outs Lomachenko’s lights though Teofimo Lopez is likely to do it first. Tank has a great chance of winning belts in 4 divisions. Ryan Garcia is an accident waiting to happen or a victim ready to be taken advantage of. Will be interesting to see if Golden Boy want to sacrifice him.
Wow, are you serious? Ryan has looked better with each fight, and is stepping up in level of opposition. He always makes weight, appears to be pretty disciplined in and out of the ring and is just getting started. He’s younger than Tank and has reach and height advantages over the smaller guy. Tank has already lost a belt on the scales, has struggled to make weight even after moving up and has looked really bad against a shot Gamboa, a guy Tank was supposed to easily KO. Gamboa was fighting on one leg, and STILL winning rounds against a tired younger “champ”. And On top of it all, Tank is having some serious outside the ring problems, getting arrested, beating women, etc. what can you expect when his mentor and puppet master is Floyd? He’s on track to become Broner 2.0! It looks like we have two young fighters moving in opposite directions. Ryan is improving and stepping up in opposition, looking like a future champ. Tank is talking a big game but he only wants to fight bums and smaller guys moving up and his fighting skills seem to be eroding. Tank better hurry up if he wants to beat Ryan and get a fight scheduled ASAP but it may already be too late. Ryan has probably already passed him up. A year from now, Tank doesn’t last three rounds with Garcia. It’s probably a moot point because Tank only fights washed up older names, smaller guys moving up or guys who can’t punch. Garcia doesn’t fit the criteria in any of those categories.
