Sad indeed, but a sign of the times I guess.

Awful news! Used to love the mag and bought it pretty often up until a year ago!

I'm surprised to hear it was still going.

Great magazine. I have alot of old issues saved up. I stopped buying boxing magazines when Golden boy bought The Ring Magazine. The old writers slowly got replaced and the new ones weren't half as good.
When I stopped buying the Ring, I stopped buying all boxing magazines, I wouldn't go in the magazine section altogether.

Brings back memories of me as a kid going to the grocery store with parents, just so I could read all the boxing rags on the racks while they shopped. Another part of the world I lived in gone.

Damn shame, a piece of history lost. It was also much better read than the Ring in modern times. Though I would actually say high quality posts on this forum surpass both nowadays, but they are fewer and further between.
