Holyfield by stoppage, corner or ref. Quick combos from bold offensive fighters are Joshua's undoing.
Exactly! AJ wouldn't be able to employ the same tactics he used in the Ruiz rematch. EH would be on him from the opening round, hunt him all night, not afraid to get hit like Ruiz was. AJ would get obliterated if AJ fought the same way he did in the first fight too. EH too much for any version of AJ.
Now lol he’s made him self a joke by admitting to not taking his training seriously and getting overweight, for his biggest payday and the biggest stage in front of the biggest audience for his first defence of his world titles he doesn’t deserve mentioning anymore, disgrace
Holyfield would break him down mentally before getting the stoppage. Every time Joshua has been in trouble in the ring he spits his mouthpiece out to buy extra time.
Stylistically a prime Hollyfield his horrible match up for AJ. A Win for Hollyfield. As for the Hunter debate for me Hunter and Usyk and worse possible matchups for AJ out of the current HWs and I wouldnt be confident in predicting a winner in these two possible fights.
Based on what? Hunter drew with an older more shopworn version of povetkin than the one Joshua beat. If Joshua loses more than 2 rounds to Hunter then it tells us Holyfield would have dealt with him. I've already written Joshua off Vs prime Tyson based on the Ruiz fight
Hunter was robbed against very tough Povetkin. Hunter's win against Bakole was impressive (at the time Bakole was getting more hype than Dubois, Hrgovic and Ajagba on this forum) and Bakole has looked impreaaive since the lose. Hunter delt with Kuzmin comfortably. Hunter still the only person to stop a durable Maldondo (in 2 rounds) who went the distance with both Rivas and Takam. Hunter is still Usyk toughest fight after Briedis, Hunter took 3 or 4 rounds off Usyk.
I see nothing to make me think Joshua would beat Holyfield, I think pressure is the key to beating Joshua, stay close and he'll melt like butter.
Holyfield. There's this spot on the right side Joshua's head that, when struck with a sharp left hook, seems to be the sweet spot that causes him to lose control of his legs. Whyte caught him there. Ruiz did, too. Evander threw short, powerful left hooks. And once he had you hurt, he unloaded with them. I think Evander stops him in pretty brutal fashion.
No it tells us quite a bit. Hunter is quite fast, game and tricky. If Joshua struggles against him his chances against a prime Holyfield don't look great.
