    I think this will be similar to the Bonecrusher v Bruno fight with Smith stopping Byrd late. Thoughts?

    Byrd was very good against punchers. Smith was not quite fast enough to corner him. He was always an old fighter even when he started. Byrd is smiths nightmare opponent. Smith can beat people who could beat Byrd (like Bruno) but couldn’t beat Byrd.

    Bryd by decision, he'd make Smith look even more ancient.

    Much like Tony Tubbs boxed circles around Smith Byrd would as well. Smith has freaky power and is as strong as an Ox, unfortunately he’s slow as hell and robotic and has to really get you drunk to tee off and throw effective combos. I’ll take Byrd to feint him out of position all night and avoid the power while pecking away with shots to pile up the points.
