Prime Mike Tyson of the 1980s vs the modern Tyson Fury

Mike had power but never faced a heavyweight the size of Tyson. Tyson has incredible head movement and foot speed and the ability to shut down his opponent. Mike had the most amazing power of all time and was trained like no other man by Cus in the mountains of New York.

Imagine the prime Mike Tyson staring up at Tyson Fury.

In the 1980s and 90s we did not have a big man like Tyson Fury.

Fury. Way too big. More skilled
Tyson was fun to watch but hugely overrated
If fury can survive wilder power who is 6 7
He can handle a midget who is more skilled but similar power

I’d have thought Fury would just be too big. Mike Tyson did fight big men throughout his career but maybe none at 6’ 7’’. Although, you would probably back MT to catch Fury at some point & his chin can be suspect.
Sticking with the ‘A good big ‘un will always beat a good little ‘un’ saying, l reckon Fury late stoppage or UD.

Mike Tyson takes this, the best Fury could do is pull a Bonecrusher and hug, clutch and grab all night. We're talking the best version of Mike .

It really depends on the mental health of both fighters, who takes it tbh.

Yeah, I'd make Fury [narrow?] favourite, I'd say, because of his reach and technique, especially if he could last the first few rounds.

But it goes without saying of course that prime Tyson would be a formidable opponent for anyone, and that prime Tyson versus any top-tier heavyweight, including all the ATG's, would be a delicious match-up that any fan would pay $$$ to watch!
