Fury will use his physical advantages to beat Lennox by a close UD if he's not sent to kiss the canvas by the latter in the late rounds.
I am a huge Fury fan, and I think he will be remembered as great, but we don't have to **** on Lewis, who was great, to get there. It is all right for fighters to lose. They often get better, and Lewis did. The McCall fight was a complete screwjob in which he could have continued, but even given he was stopped twice, his chin stood up to McCall and Rahman in rematches, as well as Briggs, Golota, Morrison, Mason, Holyfield, Tyson, Vitklit, Bruno, Grant, Mercer, Tua Ruddock, Biggs, and a few other guys that I am forgetting off the top of my head. Let's have this conversion in another few years when Fury hangs them up, and for now just appreciate both guys.
Lewis has become one of the most overrated fighters on the internet, since his retirement. His whole career been completely revised in a rose-tinted light. And everyone and their dog seems to be jumping on the Tyson Fury bandwagon these days. So there's little hope of rational, objective debate from either side on this. It would be a good fight.
Lewis doesn't get outboxed. Fury doesn't have the power to keep him off him I think. 50/50 fight that I favour Lewis in. Fury probably has a better chin.
Agreed. Frankly, Lennox is another level to Fury. Lennox is a better technical fighter, more athletic and has devastating power. There is very little Fury can do to Lennox. His pot shot combo style on the back foot (which has no power at all) wont work. It will be either a comfortable points win for Lennox or (if Fury wanted to engage) and mid/late round stoppage.
I LOVE watching that KO. And before anybody brings up Fury holding and hitting there... watch Lewis vs Grant
