Could Floyd Patterson defeat Jumbo Cummings or would he be too small??

Floyd Patterson has an easy time with Floyd Jumbo Cummings, Patterson would be in fine physical condition and would use his superior boxing skills and speed to out box the slower heavier Cummings to win a unanimous decision.

You don't think Cummings could nail Patterson?

No, Floyd was better built, you could tell by his body, he was in better shape, he did not resemble a Jumbo 747. Patterson was much quicker, he took George Chuvalo's best without falling.

Cummings was not good. The only thing he's known for is a draw (he probably should have gotten the decision) against Frazier in Frazier's bad-idea comeback. Cummings maybe could have had some potential, but he spent his prime years in prison. Floyd's too fast and skilled for him.

Perhaps he beats Patterson to the punch?

He probably could if they were cell mates. (Bad joke.)

In a ring, Patterson wears him down and stops him.

He may have fought 1971 Joe Frazier to a draw for all we know.
