Patterson learned to roll when he got older and really never got KO'd after Ingo and Liston so he became smarter like Foreman after losses, he should outclass Jumbo but the younger version could freeze

 

Yeah but Cummings only managed a draw with an overweight, inactive, half blind 10 years past prime, totally shot Frazier.

How would a journeyman in Cummings do as well against a prime, peak Frazier who convincingly beat the consensus number 1 or 2 heavyweight of all tim...why am I even having this discussion??

I believe Patterson was a rare case of a fighter who actually got better AFTER he lost the title.
