To be fair, it's tough to 'not withstand' the Wilder fight. I think it has shown Fury (30's version) will/can plant his feet and generate good power. This is coming from someone who felt Fury is a feather-fisted bore in the ring, preferring (as I do) KO artists at heavyweight. I still think his weakness is his freak physique. I said before Wilder fight that it's the kind of body that will age overnight when it finally does, and when that happens I imagine it'll be timbbberrrrrr....
His biggest weakness involves lack of discipline in camp and inbetween camps. That stuff catches up with you when you get into your 30s. He can also lack focus when he is in a fight against lower ranked opponents. For example, Wallin.
because it’s been done to death on this website for about 10 years and he keeps proving you all wrong. It’s a boring topic
He's probably banging jar jar Binks at a carnival on cocaine & crazy pills. He's already admitted to banging dwarfs lol, it's all in good fun but meh. Wilder is focused right now. Wilder will be ready for the Triology. Fury may stray off & binge eat chocolates with Big Andy Ruiz
At least wait for a comment from someone who can't fathom him having any weaknesses before playing your ace card. You blinked and wasted this one... _________________________ Weaknesses: 1. Chin: Can be dropped, even from less than impressive punchers 2. Bravado: in trying to look like he's in complete control of the fight he sometimes makes stupid mistakes and perversely loses control as a result 3. Complacency: If he doesn't respect an opponent he can look awful in fights and get sloppy 4. Southpaws: His record shows he's struggled with them but he's yet to fight one he respected before the first bell so points 2. and 3. come into play here too 5. Uppercuts: Although yet to be made to pay for this, he has a signature defensive move when disengaging from an exchange where he always dips down and to his right. A well-timed uppercut could take advantage of this rare example of predictability There's probably more. But he's still this era's best HW, regardless...
Mental stability and motivation. I don’t think he has trouble getting motivated to train and prepare for the real big fights, like Wlad or Wilder. But I could see him being the type of guy who loses a mandatory challenge to someone he’s heavily favored over.
LOL Those are two major drawbacks right there that a lot of his opponents will exploit But seriously, I think he’s only weakness now, given his change to the aggressive style, is he lacks ,as you said true one punch knockout power he is getting more effective with his power shots with his new style, but he still likes that “one shot drop you like a rock” Klitschkotype power but he has made vast improvements with his style and resulting powers effectiveness...... you got to give him that
That's an excellent forensic breakdown. Really top drawer. It reminds me I've seen him cross his feet going backwards when surprised too, the first fight with John McDermott when he was beaten to the punch. Big question is, is there a Heavyweight at the moment who could capitalise on this ?
