Haye's management will most likely ease him into the heavyweight division. If he can KO a couple of tomato cans in impressive fashion, he can demand a title fight and the big payday that comes with it.

    :rofl

"My David Haye phone line hasn't exactly been ringing off the wall"

That's some funny **** since Haye trash talks every HW but in reality he's just looking for the huge payday that a title fight would bring. As soon as HW's start calling him out he shuts his mouth..............:rofl

Too risky for Haye's first fight at heavyweight.

Monte Barrett is a safer choice for Haye's debut.

Don't kid yourselves. Arreola is a dangerous fight for Haye's first foray into the HW's. Arreola is a pressure fighter, has a great chin, and has the knockout power to expose Haye's not so great chin.

Arreola is ranked high enough to fulfill Haye's Setanta contract but its highly unlikely that they will meet in the next 18 months.
Both guys have enough power to make the Heavys approaching forty consider their futures.

Haye would embarrass Arreola, and Tua will/would also embarrass Arreola.

I don't think anyone should have any doubts about that outcome... It's a very easy mental exercise - put Arreola in Macca's place and wonder if Chris would reach the end of round two. Maybe Goosen's line hasn't been ringing off the hook because nobody is interested in what he has to offer, that is that tatooed slugger who seems to come out of a Riverside hood or a West Coast prison rather than from a Boxing Gym.

I would love to see this fight. It would be a great test for Haye's chin because Arreola can crack.

No way does Goosen put Arreola in with Haye. I'm one of Arreola's biggest fans on here, but Haye would murder Arreola. He just doesn't have good enough defense to handle that kind of aggression and power at this point in his career. I still think he could learn how to overwhelm counterpunchers (although his upper body movement was horrible to nonexistent in his last fight, though it had been much better than that in the past), but put another bullrusher in with him who has more power, more speed and more accuracy and he gets destroyed.
