I’ll add Danny Lopez’s name to the list. Every fight he got hit and was a war whether it was 2 rounds or 12.

Edit: (at least what I define as weathering the storm, he tired Foreman out and KO'd him. Ali had brains! Foreman was coming at him like a storm, Ali covered up and let him throw. Added this bc the OP defined it differently)

Marciano-Walcott... Joe had him down in the first and wobbling around the ring in the 11th. But Rocky wasn't going that easy and was consistently wearing down his opponent which paid off in glamor shot that he was setting up all fight.

Same with Julio against Meldrick. Meldrick was winning the battles but Julio was winning the war. And the truth was told in the 12th.

Stewart vs Foreman even though he lost the decision. It looked like it was going to be an early night for Big George with those early knockdowns, but once Stewart was able to start boxing the way he rearranged Foreman's face was gruesome.

 

That 7th round between George Foreman and Jimmy Young comes instantly to mind.

in the sense George took all his best was floored multiple times gassing from being in terrible condition ring rusted too yet he still rose off the canvas with thunder in his fists and rubber in his legs and took off Lyles head!

Who might i add was in the prime of his life and was a monster puncher in his own right with a lion's heart Foreman found that mans body broke before his spirit as he bludgeon him to the crys of people yelling "Stop!" too which he retorted by soaking those closest to ring in the heroes blood!!!
