As I have said before, it is way too early to compare or make a fight against the all time greats for WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, fighter like Frazier have proven themselves in epic battles, Fury has that great title winning effort over Deontay Wilder, he won it fair and square but it is one victory. It would not be fair to judge him based on one fight. I would like to see him fight the likes of Anthony Joshua or Andy Ruiz. Based on those victories I would be able to make a fair assessment vs the greats. Remember what happened to Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua in the rematch. It is too early.
The size and weight might be too much for Frazier, but I don't think Fury can handle Joe's work rate. He wouldn't be able to keep the little guy off him. Frazier likes to work in close, and he'd have the infighting all to himself if Fury didn't hold on for dear life. If Fury couldn't keep Joe at the end of a stiff jab, he'd get tuned up on the inside with Frazier's shorter arms. Frazier has beaten guys who were 6'4" before but never anybody Fury's size. It's a toss up.
He was because he might have fought well but he still didn’t get the decision You need to listen to the gypsy kings advice when it’s comes to no man born from his mother
But furys own father thinks that McDermott as you say born from his own mother won and by quite a margin I seen many fans turn away from boxing that night many who still wont watch it to this day Did hughie duck aj or was the offer derisory Because the fight didnt happen and he was offered it fot a **** ton of belts History as you point out will have it as he refused But we both know he was being ripped off But thats looking at something with an unbiased view point something fury fans cannot do
You look the spit of James Martin mate if that's you in the profile pic with Fury..If its not you then its really weird having someone that looks like James Martin having the craic with Fury in your profile picture
Ye he was 20 a hadn't been pro even a full year HWs tend to peak many years later. We've not seen the best of Charles Martin yet.
I bet good money that hes gonna rise to the top, late bloomer etc..Hes a wrecking ball when he wants to be
I'm racking my brains here trying to figure out what this has to do with Tyson Fury against Joe Frazier. Can someone shine a light?
I've been watching some Frazier bouts over the last couple of days. Smoking Joe would have to bring the form and focus of the first Ali fight. If he does, he could beat Fury with his body shots, work rate and stamina, but it would still be a tough night for him even if, p4p, he's probably better. Other than that night, Fury's style, strength, size, reach and extra weight would be too much for Joe. He'd lean all over Joe and stop a lot of his work. He probably wouldn't be open for left hooks all night like Ali was back in '71. A sharp 100% Fury would beat Frazier most nights. Joe is much smaller than Tyson. He'd probably be a cruiserweight today.
