Wilder can’t box but he floored him twice, he was also floored by pajkic and cunningham and also wallin ****ed him up badly. He’s not a great boxer/mover

 

he was overtrained for Wallin and his camp was in the middle of summer in Las Vegas which dehydrated him also

 

It didn't come overnight.

That's 10+ years of training and experience to get to this point.

He turned the corner between 2013-2015 where he really refined his out-boxing footwork.

Now he is in the phase of bringing his offence back into his game and being energy efficient with his feet.

His subtle footwork against Wilder had his head spinning.

No current heavyweight gets CLOSE to Tyson Fury's footwork...and they are all smaller men LOL!

Whyte and AJ look like dumb slow plodders in comparison....well because they are.

 

add that Wallin put up a GREAT FIGHT

Wallin was not intimidated which goes a long long way, Fought a great game-plan and executed it to the point. Fury won that fight on experience & late fight stamina.

 

It is very impressive how slick, defensive, fast and mobile he is given his size

The guy is a rare combination of skill and size

 

That’s only because there’s about 5 boxers in the world of Fury’s size, so you get 1 guy who’s better than 5 atheletically average guys and he looks amazing.

In truth, if there were hundreds of competitors his size, his movement would be nothing special. Look at the NBA for example, plenty of guys that are more athletic than Fury his size.

Size of talent pool tells how deep the talent is. Looking special out of 1000 is a much harder task than looking special out of 5 people.

 

He’s more nibble an light footed than fighters 50lb lighter than him...of all the giants ever, he has the best movement by far, it’s not average for his size, it’s unheard of

In my opinion you’re not giving him the credit he deserves


the reason the taller boxers, like Julius Long, Tye Fields, Akawande, Ustinov, for instance don’t get to this level because they don’t have the talent, agility, athleticism or skill AND extreme height that Fury has


there have been others that have attempted to come up the ranks in boxing that it been 6 foot 9+

but they never made it very far


so you’re not acknowledging those that are of equal or larger size as Fury, they just don’t have the talent, skill, movement,etc that he does


Give credit where it is due ———-Tyson fury deserves a lot of credit, as he is head and shoulders above ALL others that have been over 6’ 8”, more than likely in boxing history

and we can’t list a lot of their names because they never made it very far. Let’s be real about it

I don't think he moves all the time. The guy is so inconsistent even across the span of a single fight. But it's hard to say he isn't agile for a giant.
