Eubank Jr training with Jones Jr

Just reading the article on the Sky Sports boxing page with Junior criticising Smith and BJS for waiting around for Canelo, and how he wouldn’t wait around for fights and stays active....

Love his lack of self awareness...the lad that lost his pen against GGG, who lost against Groves, didn’t fight for 7 months...fought the traveller in a joke fight, then 5 months later fights DeGale....then waits 10 months to fight Korobov.

Since February 2018, he’s got 3 fights (17 rounds) in, with 22 months of inactivity between them. And waiting around for Canelo...nobody is fighting anybody, there’s a pandemic on.

 

He's a good lad (generally), but he's in his 30s now and is still seen to be at prospect level. He needs to humble himself and get with a proper coach and management team so he doesn't waste his remaining prime years.

 

Yeah, I like him but as you say he needs to acknowledge that he needs to get a move on. Referring to himself as nextgen is deluded.

Money in the bank, granted but a waste of natural athleticism due to a combination of not continuing to learn and inactivity

 

What an absolute little rat Jr is becoming.

Wants a fighters licence taken away for what some would say were tasteless jokes.. errrr OK.

Well maybe he should have had licence taken away for sparking an amateur who was clearly out of his depth, recording it and putting it online to try and act like a tough man... that was just tasteless.

And he has the nerve to talk about "kids looking up to us", the absolute clown.

Sr once gave him and his brother away to a virtual stranger in LA, but is now up Jr's backside for the camera time and more obviously the money, Sr is a shameless embarrassment.

Jr is becoming bitter, just like old man, his old man made millions and blew the lot, ended up bankrupt and divorced and now dances around on weigh in stages for a few cheers and attention.

Jr is bitter that Saunders will be having a major fight or two with Canelo and maybe Smith and will earn multi millions while he is on the outside looking in at everybody else having legacy fights and getting paid large.

Jr is 30 years old, never held a major title, will always be the man who screamed for GGG and when he was given the fight lost his pen and bottled it, walked around with his IBO belt for months on end like a spanner and got beat up by a poor version of Groves.

F Jr and F Sr, I'm sick to death of the pair of them.

 

Eubank calling out GGG again, he’s probably at the right age and stage of his career for him to consider now. He seems to like fighting the lads with a lot of mileage on the clock.

 

Well the Canelo fight is never going to be an option so this suits him better as you say
Id love to see GGG give him a pasting
Eubank has to his credit similar to his Dad a must watch factor
Like him or loath him

 

It'll be interesting to see how Golovkin looks now he's changed trainer, maybe he has one maybe two more big fights left in him.

He would have had to of slipped a ton though for CEJ to beat him.

Your spot on though Twentyman he is mentioning his name as he thinks he will be shot by the time they fight. He hasn't mentioned his name since Brook fought him, so talking rubbish saying he's been trying to fight him since.

I dont think he can due to an old elbow injury or something like that. Cant fully extend the arm apparently. Bearing that in mind he cant really use the most important punch in boxing and giving his late start...hes actually done well thus far anyway.

 

He can jab, it just has very little power he cant mix his jab up (think due to what bbjc said).

Also the same reason you don't see him really throw the straight right either.

I guess he's had to morph his style to fit his attributes.

 

If he doesn’t like this so much why not offer to sort Saunders out then and make a load of money whilst doing it?? Oh yes, because he knows he’d lose again because BJS isn’t old or crap. Even him and his dad would struggle to get a fight after another loss.
