Who can he beat and who will almost assuredly beat him? Who is he better than? Who would he upset? What champion does he best matchup with?

Carr was the ultimate nearly man. His misfortune to challenge for world titles against three of the outstanding fighters of his era. Of today's lot, I think similar. The elites will beat him (Spence and Crawford). Him and Porter is 50/50. Probably favour him over Thurman and Garcia at this stage.

Oba Carr was a very fast boxer. I would like to see him fight against Timothy Bradley.

He would be a world champion.

Well prime Tito, Oscar and Quartey would all clean up at 147 today IMO so he fought in a strong era for that weight and would very likely have become a world champion had he been around today.

I agree, I'd rank right there along Porter, in fact my ranking would be
    1.Thurman
    2.Porter
    3Carr
    4Garcia

Bradley was really a natural 140 pounder.

The better matchup would be between Carr and Thurman, Porter, Garcia.
