Was he robbed of the chance to implement his game plan of taking haye into the late rounds by that early stoppage??? It could have all come together for Audley that night.
A Farce only lasted 3 rounds because Haye carried him into the 3rd to win a load of bets. Haye could have blasted A Farce out in 1 round like Wilder and Price did.
If it went past the sixth we would be discussing the current unified Heavyweight champion right now, he just needed to hang in there but he got caught by a lucky punch from a guy levels below him.
Harrison was clearly trying a rope-a-dope strategy, but did not know that Haye was clever enough to anticipate, and himself would decline to throw punches until the second minute of the third round. It was the most interesting, strategic, and just plain good fight I have yet seen in which no punches were thrown for two rounds and some change.
Well done last night on The Chase Audley. I personally thought you'd have been knocked out in round one but you exceeded all expectations and won 4k for charity. Bravo.
