I've only seen footage of Stevenson, and I think he would've been at least a top 10 contender. Simple but effective style, largely due to the fact of his size. Possibly could've been champ.
You can't rank it IMO. It is almost like a 'different' sport - it requires different strategies, strengths and is even scored differently, alongside reffing and cultural differences. There is no telling how these guys would have adapted to 10 rounders, 12 rounders or 15 rounders.
Very hard to say. They might be another Wladamir Klitschko, or they might be another Audley Harrison. You would have to be an expert on amateur fighters, to even give an informed opinion!
Don't think so. Solis became really lazy and fat even before turning pro, while Savon keeps himself in great shape even 20 years since retirement from boxing. Plus Savon was much taller than Solis and much harder puncher. I think money and star status might have hurt his hunger to boxing, but if he stayed focused and trained hard, he would have had a chance to become a great pro. Savon would likely peak around the same time as Lennox - what a rivalry it would be!
Hernandez would of been in the upoer echelon of the most competitive division of all time(early/mid 90s 160/168)
Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov is another great amateur with wins over future pro champs like GGG, Zsolt Erdei, Jermaine Taylor, Jeff Lacy and Hassan N'dam
All of those guys had terrific amateur achievements. But don’t like to project success based on potential alone. Especially in boxing where there is an entire world of difference between the paid and unpaid ranks.
