Thomas Hearns Felix Trinidad Dariusz Michalczewski Ricky Hatton Gennadiy Golovkin aka GGG. Manny Pacquiao JC Chavez sr I threw in a couple extra.
I only have a top three favourite and that's Gomez, Mayweather and Ali. After that the lines blur and I can't really think of any other fighters I definitely like above the rest.
None other, from a stylistic point of view he's the perfect fighter for me. Brutal puncher but he does it with the grace of a figure skater.
One of the best ever. That man owns 122lbs. I love his style, the epitome of a boxer-puncher; whether it was stalking on the front-foot, or marvelously boxing on the back-foot, he mastered it all. AND had lethal power, shame he couldn't put it all together at FW, though. His demolition of Zárate has to be among the best performances ever, certainly below FW.
I don't like the way Arguello fights. He doesn't excite me the way that Pryor does. And I honestly think he's a little overrated. I think a lot of tall guys are overrated and it takes more skill to be the smaller guy. That's why I respect Armstrong, Duran, Pacquiao more than the Saddlers, Arguellos, Hearns, or Fosters. Hopkins will never be the equal of Toney in my eyes. Not if he fights for a hundred years. When Hearns beat Duran I was like "Oh, how did you ever do that? You only had a thirteen inch reach advantage." You know that Dwight Qawi got in the ring with Holyfield, Foreman, and Michael Spinks despite only being 5 foot 7? Now, that's boxing. That's balls. When I see 5 foot 10 Arguello fighting 5 foot 5 Chacon I say to myself, "That's a bully."
