    Morales v barrera 1
    Ali v frazier 1 and 3
    Hagler v Hearns
    Duran v Leonard 1
Eubanks v Benn 1 (was a kid in awe and really got me into the sport)

There are far too many and I could easily change the list

However, Ali v Frazier stays, as does eubanks and Benn for nostalgia

My favorite fights always had to include my favorite fighters. Preferably, but not always, winning.
    Hatton vs Tszyu
    Calzaghe vs Kessler
    Hearns vs Leonard I
Benn vs G-man (if I can separate it from the aftermath)
    Duran vs De Jesus II

I also have a special place in my heart for Duran vs Barkley.

Well I'll go with my best first. Since I'm doing a top 100, I've settled on my first 3 as:
    1. Chacón/Limón 4
    2. Moore/Durrele 1
    3. Ortega/Paret1
    4. Franklin/Johnson 1
    5. Vásquez/Márquez 3
    However my favourite fights are:

    Johnson/Franklin 1
    González/Letterlough
    GGG/Jacobs
    Charles/Marshall
    Morales/Barrera 1

Edit: oh bollocks, I forgot it was a top 5, not 3.

Oh my god. Gonzalez/Letterlough was the definition of a knockdown, drag out. I haven’t watched that fight in years. Great pick.

It's a good exercise, creating a top 100. I remember doing something similar years ago. I went through all the Ring Fight of the Years
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ring_magazine_Fight_of_the_Year
It's a good list but it's been criticized for being too American-centric; so I created a thread in the Classic for Fight of the Year nominations that only featured non-American fighters.
    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/foty-anti-freedom-edition.533615/
Then I watched the 1996 list of 100 Greatest Title Fights
    https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/The_100_Greatest_Title_Fights_of_All-Time
Lots of good stuff in those.

You know what a good resource for you might be? Right about the time I joined here, the moderator Rumsfeld was doing a best fights of the decades survey down in classic for several decades. He asked everyone in the Classic forum to rate their top ten fights of the decade and then compiled a weighted list based on points for how high on their list a fight was and how many times it was suggested. Here's two but I think he also did the 80s.
