Yeah joe calzaghe overrated aswell as he had a version of the title, it was only when beat lacey, kessler that he begun being number 1. Its the same for Wilder. In joe louis era it would be likes max baer, schemeling etc all haing word titles. The act of unifying the division is the big one.....so in certain divisions we dont have a real number welter has crawford, spence and pcquio in contenion super-welter has resido, charlo etc In fact the only division with real world champs are; heavy - joshua/fury lght-heavy - a.bertbiev super light - josh taylor light - lomachenko batam - inoune the other divisions are contentious like callum smith holds the lineal but has really beaten the top contenders nor has canelo who been given gift decisions.
The Cobra by k.o today, Calzaghe is old and soft now, whereas Froch still looks like he ready to go with no hand problems!! Who knows if they had of fought 12-15 years ago!!? Pick em fight, Calzaghe UD or Froch by k.o if he lands ala Groves!!
Just saw a clip of him doing an online interview with Michelle Joy Phelps. He said if he got into shape he could clear out the division Reckons he'd beat Callum Smith and BJS. What a clown!
