They told me you were dead. Wow. This is just like that Paul McCartney rumor. If you put Markant on a turntable and spin him backwards with a needle up his ass, you hear " I buried @PhillyPhan69".

the rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated I assure you....although reading a post from Ant EOT or IMOJL could make a person choose to end it all...I get it, I’ve been there.

Sandy Saddler gets far too little attention here IMO.

    Also:

    Bob Foster

    Joe Brown

    Carlos Palomino

    Kid Gavilan

    Willie Pastrano

I’m currently writing a book on Jofre. Been working with his family on it and was blown away with how much I had to work with. (I’ve got every single fight covered).

Estimated to be wrapped up with my writing by July (between 180-200k words and lots of rare photos) and then edited and released in the first quarter of 2021.

Manuel Ortiz would be my choice. There’s very little footage of him and very little that I know written about him. He’s arguably the greatest fighter ever born here in Southern California. Maybe one day I’ll go really in depth to find more but would love to learn more through others and works that are out there already. He was very highly regarded and respected and his life was not boring.

How about Gomeo Brennan, Vonn Clay was another one. Here's another one, Ruben Navarro, I saw him on Friday's Boxing From The Forum, in the early 1970's.
