Wilder hits harder than Fury. Fury is a better boxer than Wilder. Apparently this will come as a surprise to some of you, but sometimes the better boxer stops the better puncher. (gasp) Ali wasn't a better puncher than Foreman because he stopped Foreman. Ali wasn't a better puncher than Liston because he stopped Liston. Ali wasn't a better puncher than Frazier because he TKOed Joe. Ali wasn't a better puncher than Shavers because he had Earnie out on his feet in the 15th round. Did you guys not know this? (I find that hard to believe.) Or is this just more trolling, which is supposed to be a bannable offense on this site? If trolling is not a bannable offense anymore, please let me know. Because I WILL LIGHT THIS BOARD UP with troll threads. In a freaking heartbeat. Waiting for confirmation. Just let me know. (Thanks)
Don't be ridiculous. Wilder has a lot more power than Fury. I rather get punched by Fury than Wilder.
I'd rather be punched by neither. They're pro heavyweights. Either one landing a full force punch on a common man would not end well.
I think Wilder and Charles Martin have same level power - both have similar KO % against similar opposition - both knocked out Gerald Washington in 5-6 rounds with one punch - both sometimes get dragged into deep waters by guys like Molina and Zumbano Love when the betting line is about 2.5 rounds
Martin is definitely a better boxer as well. I'd be about as shocked as I was when Helenius upset Kownacki if Martin pulled one off against Wilder.
Just because he couldn't knock Fury out, doesn't mean his right isn't as hard as we thought. It was because of Furys ability to get away from wearing the full brunt that negated Wilders right. By saying Wilder doesn't hit that hard, its kind of taking away Furys defensive efforts as well as the truth of that right hand that Wilder has. Wilders got one of the hardest right hands ever. He's dropped everyone he's fought, including Tyson Fury.
