I think spence benefits from fox promoting the hell out of his fights more than anything. His no cash cow thats for sure.

Neither of these two are real "A Sides" when it comes to being a draw. They seem to want PPV money NEITHER can bring in, which means this fight will likely never come to fruition.

Spence is the bigger draw although neither is a genuine A-side and the whole A-side/B-side nonsense is pretty much BS in the biggest fights anyway. It's usually used an excuse for one or both sides to duck each other.

Both of them are the B side to Pacman, and it is not even close.

Spence is also more known nationally than Crawford, but that isn't saying much. Neither guy is a known commodity in the States. Spence vs Crawford has PPV flop written all over it. Sad, but likely true.

Yeah, you are right. Spence is a little bigger of the two, but not enough to command PPV or canelo type money, or even get a HUGE split over TC. Funny thing is, IF this came to fruition, I think Top rank would do a much better job at promoting the fight over Haymon's PBC. 55/45 split is what this should be.

TBF to PBC there isn't really a US stable building superstars at the moment. Canelo is carrying GBP rather than them doing a great job for him.

Truth. This seems to be the case for just about all promotional outfits. Lucky to have ONE super star now a days.

Spence is the bigger draw, but it's kind of balanced out by the fact that Crawford is rated P4P #1 by many people.

Spence is the A side. He puts more bums on seats and generates more PPV and he has more belts including the prestigious WBC belt. There is a difference between being the pound for pound number 1 fighter in the world which Crawford is and being the A-side which Spence is and a difference between being the pound for pound number 1 which Crawford is and the best Welterweight in the world which Spence is.

I don't think the WBC holds any more value than the others these days. Look at the blue murder they let Wilder get away with as their heavyweight champ.

It’s still the belt fighters want above the others no doubt due to its history followed by the WBA and IBF. The least prestigious is the WBO. I never forgot back in the day when it was suggested to Julio Cesar Chavez he move up to Welterweight to test the waters by fighting for and trying to win the WBO title and a confused Julio Cesar Chavez asked what is a WBO?

And then the next Mexican superstar started off by winning... A WBO title. And won two other WBO titles later on in his career.
