If Wilder loses again to Fury, I think he can still get a big payday fighting AJ. It's a fight many of us have been waiting for. I don't think Wilder will retire if he loses. He shouldn't.
Nah, where would the demand be? He'd have to lose by the narrowest and most competitive of margins to justify a Joshua fight, and Wilder's pull at the negotiating table would be reduced, which is something which Wilder won't understand and thus make the fight all but impossible to bring to fruition.
I actually give D credit here for shining a light on the vital importance of CCA Timestamped This content is protected Unfortunately I have to retract said credit due to the hideous CCA he's displaying
I’m going with 2 because he knows he made the worst decision not fighting AJ and has to make up that money as best he could he missed out on. The thing is he could’ve lost to Joshua and still go back and get a shot at Fury or whoever is a top WBC guy ,now that he’s lost bad ,the AJ payday isn’t going to happen even if AJ grants him a fight . The third option you listed isn’t far behind but I’m betting he takes another loss after a second Fury one to have him retire , I believe there’s guys to do that ,If Wilder is smart he stays away from Joyce, DDD , Usyk and Hrgovic if he resumes his career those guys are all land mines that being risky to walk by .
Both can make a lot more money fighting hopeless stiffs for their next 3 or 4 fights. You have to give them both equally as much credit and respect for fighting each other yet again. As far as Wilder's psychology is concerned, he definitely feels he can win, that's why he's taking the serious risk again.
I have no idea what you were trying to say there. My point is there are bigger money fights on the horizon for Fury, and to think the trilogy fight with Wilder is a cash out for Fury is laughable.
You seen fury say he ain't sticking around Where as Joshua is on about fighting for the next ten years or so
My man, we are not talking about longevity in the sport. I called you out for saying this is a cash out fight for Fury, which it so blatantly is not. That is all.
I always thought that Wilder had deluded himself into a safety zone of confidence But looking at his pre-fight nerves in the rematch it's all just a facade. He is scared of Fury. He can't control a fully sexually primed Fury who masturbates 7 times a day & he knows it. Wilder has no other option, even if he didn't want the rematch he basically has to have it. Pay him about $12.5m & Pulev $5m and we have AJ Fury. nobody is putting up that money for what is effectively a 6 month wait. They can build AJ Fury instead during this time.
Now that Fury has exposed Wilder's shaky mandible for all but the most deluded to see, he's just a KO waiting to happen - again.
