Tua by murder. Tua beat four titlists: Ruiz, Moorer, Rahman and Maskaev. He and Ike set the record for punches thrown in a fight, and the the President got the nod, a lot of people felt Tua won. His hook was actually a classy punch, he had a great chin, and his one real drawback, his height, could not come into play against a 6'7" fighter who had no idea how to exploit the advantage. Tua just wears him down and knocks him out.
This fight would be interesting just based on the whole unstoppable force(wilders right hand) meets the immovable object(tua's chin) and how it would play out Ya know...after thinking about it, I'd say tua's chances to have beat wilder hypothetically are pretty good....tua would want to fight inside and wilder really never has stopped anybody from doing so(whether by design or fault) Wilder would just be searching to use that right hand on a guy who has a ATG granite chin ....And then even if he wanted to stop tua from coming inside, he'd have to develop a helluva jab overnight Tua only seemed to have "problems" against "boxers"(izon, maskaev, Rahman) Until he'd explode in the waning minutes and knock them out...hmm im seeing some parallels here...but I digress...
Tua catches him mid rounds with that titanic left hook. Wilder takes a ten count. Then blames fatigue on the covid face mask he wore all day.
Yeah I'd go Tua because I'm a kiwi and also because Tua in his prime was tough. Very good chin with a powerful left hook and a good resume to boot, leaves me confident that Tua would take it.
Could you imagine the Fun both Prime Tyson and Tua would have with this era of Heavyweights....both around 5" 10" but they would rip through this lot like going to the Toilet after a Dodgy Indian Curry.!!!!
This content is protected Molina had this joke doing a dance from his left hook. Tua would have ended his career.
