I'm writing a Dutch blog on boxers with a story Now for my new blog, I'm looking for a boxer whose story I read a couple of years ago on a website, but I can't find it anywhere. This is what i Know: Ik was an American boxer, I think it was in the 80's but could be earlier. He was a professional wrestler and became a heavyweight boxer. He signed a contract with a promoter and he would get money if he won 10 times in a row. So he fought the same boxer multiple times who made a dive every fight. The other boxer changed his name every time and they fought in a different state everytime so nobody would find out. I googled for hours, but I can't find it. Can anybody help me with his name? (No trolls please)
I'm interested; bump. Really I have no idea who this could be. Do you know if he was ever televised? Only fought 10 times professionally?
Don't no if he was televised. He fought more then 10 times, but was paid for winning 10 matches in a row
I found him myself. Was looking at old topics and found it back. His name is Jeff Warner. The story can be found at : http://www.hack-man.com/Wrestling/NewsArticles/20000319-ShadowBoxer.html Had a good laugh reading this
