Fury is champ in a weak era and bad replica of Ali!The only great replica of Ali was Holmes!
There were great replicas like Tillis,Page,Tucker,Douglas...and Fury also but...who did Fury beat!
Fury lost and beat one handed chinny Wilder who made his hype punch om knocking cans!Hiw power is not near of Marciano,Tyson,Liston but Foreman and Shavers? And He said like he was hardest puncher!
Only nex notable opponent is Steve Cunningham poor version of Byrd who almost beat Fury!
Fury is good not because he is really something than boring giant who ducked slow and bad fighters but because he fight in a weak era!If he fought in 70s he would be just contender! If he faced someone like Dempsey he would be killed in less than 4 rounds!

I like Tyson a lot and think he's great for the sport. But his win over Wilder is a greater win than Lennox's win over (albeit a bit past it) Holyfield? Or his stoppage win over Vitali?

Wow. A win against Wilder and an aging Wlad makes him GOAT contender. GTFO.

If that happens I will rank him the #2 man of the era.

I don't see it that way, but it would not utterly shock me. I see Joshua as #2 and a guy who has accomplished a great deal. Let the better man win.

I'd possibly give you Holyfield altho he was 37 so in reality it's no better a win than Fury outpointing 40 y/o Wlad (and Fury only needed one fight for that). Tko6 only holds water as a legit win for Lewis fans, and even if you say legit win on a cut it doesn't come too close to Fury's beat down of Wilder. Wilder was also a longterm champion lest we forget, Vitali in 02 was a two week notice stand in who'd already had two bad injuries. If Lewis's best win is tko6 he's got a lousy cv in my view.

Ya I already wrote that Evander was a bit past his best. But in the case of Vitali, I know he wasn't 100% right then, but he was close to his prime and nearly got his faced ripped off by an old and ready to retire Lennox. Now I'm not a fan of Deontay's by all means but I'm certainly not a hater. But, is Deontay's resume all that? I know he's been a champ for awhile and he can be dangerous- he almost had Tyson out in their first, but whom has Deontay beaten? He's beaten some ranked fighters but if you were to go resume v resume when it comes to Deontay, Lennox and Tyson, a case can be made that Lennox's resume is better than Tyson's and Deontay's combined.

Fury didnt lose to Wilder and you forget to add Wladimir Klitchko who he outboxed with ease.
If he would face someone like Dempsey i wouldnt put my money on guy who was champion 100 years ago.

Amen to that! Just premature for those calling Tyson Fury a candidate for GOAT with his relatively thin resume.

Fury fans need to calm down, his resume isn't anywhere near deep enough to be considered the GOAT or an ATG.

Do Fury fans forget what they said about Wilder before BOTH fights?

Fury fans were relentless with the abuse about how poor Wilder was, how technically poor he was, his low ring IQ and the rest..

Now they point to that win as a reason to crown their man an all time great, it's a joke, it's like they have reinvented Wilder in to great fighter after Fury beat him up.

Doesn't work like that, so stop it, it's embarrassing.

Fury didn't lose?He was almost finished there! He cheated in second fight!
He outboxed ancient 50 years old Klitchko!
Waa almost beaten by small bum Cunningham!
If he face someone like Dempsey he would be mauled because Dempsey would be fastest man he would ever fight with power in both hands and chin!I would put my money on Dempsey!

    I love Tyson Fury

He'd give ANY top 10 HW of all time a good fight and beat a lot of them.

No super-heavyweight in history possesses the skills, stamina and footwork he does.

He doesn't fight for fame, fortune or legacy. He did at one point.

Now he has tamed the toughest opponent he'll ever face (depression, bipolar) how can any man born from their mother even compete? they can't.

He fights for fun and dominates these dudes.

After he toys with AJ and Whyte if you don't think he's Top 10 ATG then Fury will have to a get a time machine to impress you.

Fury beat(s) the best available, at any given time, in any given location & dominates them.

The current division can't compete with him.

It's not just the win, it's how he won.

You see how AJ went life and death with Wlad?

Wlad could comeback today and still give them smaller heavys including Whyte A TOUGH FIGHT.

DERECK CHISORA still gives many HW's tough tough fights. Fury dealt with him when he a baby.

Fury is the future GOAT. He can't claim that status though only because Ali will ALWAYS hold claim to that status, since he made it up for himself.

You all need to understand, We still haven't seen the best of Fury.

He is going to decimate Whyte and AJ when them fights happen.

Bow down to The Gypsy King. Son Of Zues. A born and bred fighting man.
