His 'I'm just an ordinary man with a wife and kids Koogs' schtick started to grate years ago. Anyone with a brain can see right through him and the 'humble' persona he portrays. He's an actor, he is incapable of speaking on a normal level when a camera is on him.
Gist of the show was he injured his leg early on and had a paddy... Spoke about how he achieved all he wanted in boxing being a world champion and how he needed this to get him excited... He white knighted Katie price, they set all the rest of the recruits on him in milling n told him to just defend himself.. He started calling em ****s n telling em to hit his body n lashed out n pushed fash in the face... Then sat down with ant Middleton n basically told em he's an angry ****
mate it was funny as **** !! Talking about his demons and he is ready to explode on someone , the sas guys trying to tell him he has to do something about it or he will end up doing some damage to someone and then he came out with the Bellew special . “ I just want to be left alone “ hahahahaha
quite entertaining to be honest , Katie Price is a grade a tit! Can’t see her lasting long moaning crying complaining the weak link of the group! joey Essex surprised me and the sas guys seem to like him! They asked them all to line up from toughest to weakest of the group made me laugh Bellew try’s to put himself as the toughest and Joey Essex goes to the left of him to make himself the toughest haha! They then had the boxing challenge where the 4 who claimed to be the toughest I think it was Joey Essex Tony Bellew music guy from Rudimental and someone else can’t remember , they basically had to take a beating from the rest of the group without hitting them back , bellew was the only one who couldn’t do it and lashed out! Got a small telling off from Ant Middleton. then after that he was taken to see the sas guys and they had a heart to heart where Tony told them he misses boxing since retirement he is ready to explode on someone , they tell him he can’t be like this he will end up in big trouble possibly prison , then Bellew came out with the infamous I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE !! not bad I enjoyed it , I will defiantly watch it next week.
I've caught up with this now. He's full of **** and playing up to the camera as usual. He's obviously a very dangerous bloke if you did happen to get in a fight with him (He knocks the stuffing out of 99.9% of people) but his 'caged animal' schtick is bollocks, he's not stupid enough to lash out. In fact, I'd go as far to say there's more chance of Louie Spence ending up killing someone than Bellew.
Just watched that first episode and not sure I’ll bother with the rest, can’t take it seriously. I know these SAS guys are elite soldiers but seeing a 5’7” army guy talk about discipline to a former boxing world champion who used to starve himself to near death to make 175 is a bit too much. And endorsing a challenge where someone gets battered without fighting back as an example of discipline. Also state of Katie’s plastic face.
