    How would Moorer and his southpaw style do against the size and strength of Max Baer and Buddy Baer? Is Moorer stopped twice or is he victorious in both bouts?

    We just had a Max v Mike thread. I stick to my conclusion on Max and broaden them to include Buddy. Mike stops them both... Unless he doesn't.

    When did Moorer beat someone as big as Buddy Baer? Not saying that he would lose, but I am interested in that.

    Moorer was a far more skilled fighter. and a southpaw. the only knock against him was a shakey chin. max baer could Punch, but was generally a wide/wilde hitter, and Moorer would be too skilled to get caught by him.
    so here is my prediction: i see baer threatening early, perhaps even dropping Moorer in round 2. Moorer recovers and starts taking over with his superior skills and heavy Hands. by round 8 max is busted up bad and Moorer wins by tko.

    Moorer beats Buddy by ko but has to get up off the canvas to do so.
    Max, I'm picking him to ko Moorer, after losing most of the fight.

    Max would flatten him, but he might have a chance against Buddy, if he fights a smart fight.

    That is the one knock that you can't afford to have against you, when you are fighting a Baer!

    Nobody is beating Max Baer without eating a few of his bombs along the way!

    Buddy Baer was a much superior fighter than Bronco Billy Wright.

    Moorer likely pummels Buddy Baer. But, if he is not careful, he could get stopped by Max. I agree that it may only take one big shot from Max to turn out Moorer's lights.
