Round 4

Zamora is tattooing Blanco's stomach with straight lefts and then nudging him off-balance with the right hook pushing into his dome from the blindside. Huge uppercuts from Blanco wading in. Zamora threading right jabs between the arms, tapping Blanco as he zombies his way in. Blanco starts punching with a little more gusto now, stringing together big hooking combos, very wide, but not much landing and Zamora is able to stall his momentum with a clinch anyway. Blanco finally lands more than one in a row, a pair of short hooks inside while shimmying his legs apart into a wider stance.

Round 5

Zamora is still doing some nice textbook moving & counter-poking, and continues to easily outbox his opponent at long and medium range. When he makes it a messy elbow-laden brawl up close, Blanco seems to put the fear into Zamora, causing him to relentlessly tie up. Zamora is ducking and countering with right hooks, but his legs aren't cooperating like he'd like, and more of Blanco's stuff is skidding off his frontal lobe. Zamora bites down on his gum shield and digs in, looping a pair of hard lefts into the ribs and then a right hook into the jaw, but nothing will dissuade Blanco from steamrolling in and swinging away madly.

We're like prisoners that haven't seen a live woman in years all flocking to smush our faces against the fence when a middle-aged 6 you'd barely call a "MILF" on the outside walks by, flaring our nostrils for just the remotest (probably imagined) whiff of cunny.

 

Round 6

Zamora is making this uglier and uglier, but he is throwing a wet blanket over all of Blanco's surges, wrenching on his arms to both keep him preoccupied and run the clock, as well as tire him out. Zamora landing just enough on the separations, mostly flapping pinball-paddles into the sides, to keep himself ahead in the landed (and percentage) category, although nothing he's doing has the slightest effect on Blanco.

Round 7

Zamora is dialing in that long straight left hand counter and really snapping Blanco's head back with it now. Blanco just isn't a quick learner, apparently. He keeps trying exactly the same tack, over and over. Zamora is outworking him by about 3:1 even as his gas tank runs low and he's forced to lean from the buttocks to lumber partially against the middle rope. Blanco loading up bombs, just getting needled leng t'che style before he can deliver them.
