Nice effort. I have some disagreements, like no Packey McFarland and Walcott above Tommy Ryan. George Dixon deserves consideration. Good work though
Frazier and dempsey are underrated here...but thats just here which doesnt matter...but yes those two p4i would have demolished many of the fight favorites people like here....
Walcott-Ryan would have been a great fight. Chronologically, this is the second high profile ducking next to Sullivan-Jackson. There are reports that Walcott chased Ryan for the Middleweight title but Ryan would not give Walcott the fight and Walcott went on to fight bigger guys. As for McFarland, are there enough evidence and reports to show that he is a far superior fighter than Freddie Welsh? As for George Dixon, this is tricky. Terry McGovern is the superstar of the small division. Then we have Abe Attel. Then Dixon, Johnny Kilbane and Jim Driscoll in the same tier.
