I mean physically. I don't know why we are going on about this on a boxing website but a man who is not concerned for a woman's safety and comfort is capable of physically hurting her.

Please, I am going to ask that we stop this. This is a boxing website and I should never have opened this genie bottle. Forget I ever said anything beyond George Foreman.

Magic was in town for the 50 Greatest NBA Players of all time celebration and was staying at the hotel. I met him at the gym there. I am not much of a basketball fan, so I left him alone. But, my buddy, was an enormous fan of his and just wanted him to autograph a picture he had. Magic told him to "get the **** away from him." Not at all like the friendly persona you see on TV. On the other hand, I met Wilt Chamberlain the same weekend. He was a super nice, cool dude.

Had a coffee with Paulie Malignaggi in NYC and he was more than happy to chat and take pics etc, genuinely great guy.

Also spent time with Frank Bruno who was really sound and down to earth.

Considering that it was over twenty years ago, I just don't remember. But I still have the book with the personalized signature in my front-room library.

Met Donnie LaLonde's truck driver brother a year ago...does that count? Also met a man from Puerto Rico,...also a truck driver, who claimed he was related to Jose Torres.

Freddie Roach was the nicest man I've met who was well known. Met him at Bernard's XX title defense at Staples Center.

Now, for celebrities I didn't care about: Kimbo Slice. Was in Vegas for my brother's bachelor party. Forgot what hotel we were in, probably MGM, and I see Kimbo, with his entourage walking behind him, walking towards a club. I approached him to shake his hand or take a pic and an entourage member sprinted in front of Kimbo and said no dice homie. And this was right before he got on TV, so around 2008. Dude acted like an untouchable king on his throne and hadn't accomplished jack squat yet (and never would). Will always remember that.

Also, used to frequent Horror Conventions a lot. My first convention Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in 2000 at the Pasadena Convention Center was a big one. They were awarding HALLOWEEN Executive Producer Moustapha Akkad, a complete gentleman, and The EXORCIST Director William Friedkin. One of the main attractions was Linda Blair and upon getting in line I took out my camera and tried to get a quick shot of her sitting at her table.

I don't know how she saw me but without looking in my direction she ducked behind one of her 5 bodyguards to get out of range. I walked closer and the bodyguard she hid behind told me no photographs and that I'll have to buy a signed lithograph for $20 AND an extra $5 to get a pic with Linda. Now $5 isn't bad compared to today's bull**** prices. But I remember thinking that was chintzy of her to pull that because The Exorcist is the only thing she's known for. I would've bought a lithograph from her anyways and ended up paying the extra $5 for a live photograph as well.

She was the only person at the convention who charged extra for a personal photograph taken of her. Michael Berryman (The Hills have Eyes; Weird Science) was extremely nice. Same with Moustapha Akkad mentioned above. Rick Baker, Tom Savini, Robert Englund, Kane Hodder, John Carpenter, Nick Castle, George Romero, Tobe Hooper, Gunnar Hansen, etc (too many to name) were all ****IN awesome!! Everyone was great, sans Linda Blair...

Nothing too bad, but actions do speak louder than words.

Ward has always been a pleb.

Comes across as some great christian who is decent etc, but he's smug, full of it, and gives off a devious vibe.
