UFC 249 is promised by Dana White but the problem is Khabib is stuck in Russia!
    Who wins? Tony or Justin?

Tony vs. Khabib is the fight that 'matters' more, but Tony vs Justin is, on paper, potentially the GOAT fight in terms of action. Although than a prime for prime match between Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua, I can't really think of an mma match that would guarantee more ultra-violence on paper.

I think Khabib vs Tony is sort of like Frazier vs. Ali I, whereas Tony vs. Justin is more like Foreman vs. Lyle.

I'll probably put money down on Justin in my just for fun betting pool at work, depending on the odds. I don't think people understand how dangerous Justin is with his hands. And Tony really leaves his chin up in the air sometimes...

Are they planning to do it behind closed doors?

First couple of rounds will be a war of attrition but Tony has elite stamina and chin, if he can get through the initial brutality I expect him to wear Gaethje down and end it in the 3rd or 4th. Not counting Justin out though he has heavy hands and Tony likes to come straight forward and his striking defense is not good so JG has a real chance here.

I favour TFerg to win and eventually stop Gaethje but it should be a war for a few rds. Hopefully Ferg wins so we get to see Khabib-Ferg later in the year.

as usual I was wrong, but I don't care, that was a really great last fight!

I stated in another thread that Justin didn't always fight smart in the previous fights I saw him in, well he was great in there last night as far as not eating shouts just to show how tough he is, really liked his game plan and how he stuck to it.

That Tony dude has one of the best chins I have ever seen. Yes Joe Rogan was hyping up how hard the shots were, but forgetting him for a second those shots he was eating for the last few rounds were incredible imo.

respect to both guys. what a great fight they put on.
