Tyson. For me its the difference in skill. Tyson was a master of boxing, Frazier would fight you.

Frazier practically cleaned out the division during Ali’s exile, even if it wasn’t quite in the same fashion that Tyson did & at an older age.

If you took away the Ali win away you’d probably have go with Tyson, but that really is such a huge trump card and understandably one of the main reasons he is ranked so highly.

I’d normally rate Frazier from 5-7 Tyson from 8-12.

Frazier, it's close but Joe has better resume than Tyson.

Joe fought much tougher competition than Mike but head to head I like Mike's speed and combination punching. With that said, I love Joe and would much rather watch him fight than Mike.

Its tough. I go back and forth.

Tyson's speed and two handed power would make him a huge favorite over many all time greats.

Frazier, while great, would struggle vs elite punchers like Lewis, Foreman (obviously), Liston etc. I think Frazier beats hard hitting second tier fighters like Lyle, Shavers, Cooney etc. But Frazier's lack of big right hand would hurt him vs hard hitters who were also great boxers. Its not inconceivable that he beats them but tough nonetheless.

Frazier was better at cutting off the ring though. No way Douglas beats even an unmotivated Frazier.

Tyson's wins over Tucker, Ruddock, Thomas, Bruno, Tubbs are comparable to Frazier's wins over Bonavena, Quarry, Bugner, Ellis etc. But Frazier's win over Ali gives him a big edge.

Tough choice. Right now I will choose Frazier but I keep going back and forth.

I wouldn't debate anyone having either ahead.
