I think Sugar Shane is stronger and faster fighter and would win. Not sure it would be a knockout due to Porters mental toughness.
Shane would beat porter who's too limited to beat Mosley imo. His style of fighting plays right into Shane's hands.
He'd beat him. Mosley was basically done at that point. He beat a distracted Marg after barely getting by Mayorga with a dodgy KO.
Porter got knocked down by Broner and Spence because of thier speed, That Mosley was faster stronger and threw brutal combinations, No way Porter makes it.
Mosley KOed Mayorga beautifully in the 12th not sure he could KO showtime Shawn. mosley is a super clean combo puncher. A true savage. If anybody could do it I’d say prime roided Mosley would rip a quadruple left hook combo. To KO porter. never seen that ability out out anybody but him & Roy.
Only people that gave Floyd trouble were people that were bigger than them. Even during the hype of Pacmans run I didn't want to see them too fight as I still think it would be lop sided. I still think that. Even then. The fight shouldn't even be counted because the fight was never going to happen with the cold war anyway. Old:
Mosley stops Porter in 8 or 9. Porter is there to be hit and I think he would fade a bit going late into the fight due to Shane's own strength. I can't see Porter roughing up, pushing Shane back consistently for his style to be as effective as normally is the case.
Mosley would have to work his ass off to beat Porter. This is the same Mosley who had not beaten any top fighters other than Antonio Margarito by that point in ages. Shane would unfortunately allow the potential ugliness of this fight and styles contrast to keep it close, and even possibly lose. Shane had NO confidence after losing to Vernon Forrest. None. Never seen anyone go from killer to gun shy so quickly.
