So pretty much Bud or Spence are going to end up sitting at the top of the mountain at 147. Where do you guys see them going/doing after becoming undisputed? Does/Can Errol go on to reign at 154/160? Can/Will Bud move up to higher weight classes and dominate? Or does he reign king in one of boxing’s most stacked divisons?
I couldn't care less who retires with the better resume, who is number 1 for a couple of years, who gets "exposed" or whatever. All I care is that these dudes start fighting each other ASAP. Like Floyd told Leonard Ellerbe; "Make the f@#king fight happen!"
I know Spence and Crawford both want to become undisputed champion at 147 pounds. I can see Crawford going up to 154 but no higher and I can see Spence fighting at 160 even 168 pounds. I see Crawford fighting Jermell Charlo and I see Spence fighting Canelo, Andrade, GGG and BJS. I can see both guys winning these fights.
Welterweight is overrated imo.all the top fighters are getting old and have already fought each other barring a few exceptions.needs some new blood ASAP.
Crawford's gonna be getting long in the tooth pretty soon. Due to his skill level and ring IQ he'll remain a top fighter, but he probably already is vulnerable to a fighter as talented as Ennis.
I have mate and they are excellent prospects especially Vergil Ortiz jnr..I seen jaron's last fight(first time I'd seen him) and he looked good but looks to lack power? I could be wrong tho. Maybe it's just me but welterweight has stagnated over the last few years and it needs some young un's to shake things up a bit...Taylor,prograis,and Ramirez will be up there in a couple of years hopefully aswell.
Who has Crawford beaten to get so over hyped? He has the shittiest resume of any pound for pound guy in recent memory
Yeah possibly but Ennis hasn't beat a top 40 welterweight yet so I'm baffled as to why you'd pick him over Crawford.
Similar to how Crawford hasn't beaten an upper echelon opponent yet. Ennis is an up and coming guy that can't get ranked guys to fight him. Crawford is an established guy that doesn't fight top level opponents. To make it worse, some of these guys touch Crawford up, exposing his defensive flaws.
