Pavlik jabs the Hell outta Canelo for three rounds. Going into the fourth, open scoring reveals that Canelo is up 9-0. Pavlik says in his corner: "Am I drunk?? Or am I hearing this correctly?" In desperation, he goes out to finish Canelo. He backs him up, and stuns him with a big right hand. Canelo counters with a good hook that snaps Pavlik's head back a bit, and the ref inexplicably jumps in and stops the fight, telling Pavlik: "You've had enough." DAZN announcers say: "Canelo is the greatest fighter we've seen since Ray Robinson! The man is incredible! Let's go in the ring and get his autograph, err umm I mean interview him!" Oscar, high as kite, says in the post-fight interview: "Kelly Bundy put up a brave effort, but he took too much punishment. For our next fight, we've managed to entice Marvin Hagler out of retirement. Saul is a true legend killer! What? No, that's sugar on my nose... I like my coffee very sweet."
Kelly batters him senseless and stops him in 10, and for what it's worth, I've also said I thought Pavlik could possibly beat Golovkin as well. Neither Golovkin nor Canelo bring the same skill set or intangibles to the table that B-Hop and Maravilla did, so it's pointless even using that comparison.
Ahh Kelly Bundy.. now that was one hot broad back in the day.. Pavlik was pretty outstanding too. Boxing needs more good white American fighters
Golovkin and Canelo are better than Maravilla but stylistically Pavlik matches up better to them. Pavlik is not battering Canelo senseless my friend. Canelo's head movement is far too good for a slower, heavy puncher like Pavlik to put a beating on him. Pavlik will have a little early success with the jab but Canelo would counter and beat up Pavlik once he gets past that heavy-ass Pavlik jab. Pavlik actually has a better chance of beating GGG because GGG would rely more on the jab out of respect for Pavlik's power.
Lol, Kelly is tailor made for Canelo, but I guess Kelly knocks him out in less than 6 just like GGG and Kova right??
Canelo would win due to his superior skills, versatility and durability. Pavlik was a respectable champion though.
