On sky sports action now , through 7 what a great close fight very evenly matched these two fighters , I think the weight had a big effect aswell as the eye injury. you can see Kell slowing down at the end of 7 and starting to breath heavy. I think a prime 147 Brook around 2013/2014 beats Spence.
Brook was at about 60% of his prime against Spence. Still gave him a decent fight. If only he could have his time again.. so many different routes would have led him to the p4p lists.
Big whoop Brook was fighting in his hometown with every possible advantage, Spence worked his way into the fight, hit Kell in his glass eye and Kell jacked the fight. Not impressed at all
Kell Brook is a shot fighter. Eddie Hearns is like some snidey lieutenant in WWI who avoided the front line because his dad was a general. Then when he sends his men over the top to their certain death he points to the death in service cheque their wives got through the post. I’m changing lives here koogs.
Agree 100% Klit was one punch from finishing juiceshua the klit that Fury schooled was way better than that version too
The big factor is that Spence came to Kell’s backyard and stomped him. Pre car crash at least Spence was a rare breed who could adapt to whatever style his opponent was using and just overpower them. I loved that card and the build up to it. The Groves v Chudinov fight was an absolute epic followed by a real class main event. One of the best PPVs in recent memory.
Brook that won the belt against Poter had the world at his feet, Floyd was retiring and the division was open. In hindsight, a move to PBC would have been brilliant, a fight with Thurman and I feel he would have come away with both his belts, truly a fighter who was ruined by poor management and then a lack of motivation, also his mad obsession with Khan. The fight with Spence 2013/14 would have been great, too close to call really but I'd just favour a prime Spence over Brook.
I think the in shape, lighter Wlad that fought an aggressive fight similar to his best peformances against Povetkin and Pulev that fiught AJ with would have beaten Fury.
