It's alright man. Not a commonly held viewpoint so I'd suppose it's natural to assume I'm trolling.

No, it's good to disagree. Be a pretty forgettable place if we didn't sometimes.

This is a good fight. Think it goes to decision and could really go either way. If I had to pick I’d say Conn 15 UD

Am I supposed to be impressed with this? Look what Conn did against Joe Louis, someone much better and much more dangerous than Canelo.

No. You just have to admit that canelo was faster than conn because it is a fact, after having said that , you can pick who you want

I think that Canelo head movement will give Conn some problems.

Could be but that doesn't necessarily mean Canelo will win.

Nobody is underestimating Canelo here. He's a very good fighter and probably the best middleweight right now. Problem is you are underestimating Billy Conn, a legitimate atg

Ffs I can't believe I just responded to someone who's been booted already. Don't mind me as I'll just go back to drinking heavily.

This isn't even set in stone either! Looking at who he's fought and who fought them, it's very arguable that he isn't.

GGG should've beaten Canelo. Canelo ducked Derevyanchenko should've beaten GGG. Ergo, Derev is the actual main man in the division. Throw Jacobs in there, and a draw was arguable in the Canelo fight, and Derev should've beaten Jacobs too.

All of the above is very much arguable. Canelo being #1 is far from set in stone. And he did duck Derevyanchenko.

If Derevyanchenko had Canelo's managers, he'd have a better résumé against the same fighters Canelo's fought, since he wouldn't have a bogus draw with GGG.

Conn for reasons that should be patently obvious to even the most casual observer of the sport.

I've spoken to a guy that sparred many rounds with Canelo and he pointed something out to me; when you fight Canelo, throw two punches and move. Never throw 3 because that's when he counters.
Conn would figure him out within a couple rounds then take him to school. Conn went to boxing university fighting guys like Yarosz and Zivic and Apostoli.
