Tiozzo was one of my favorite fighters... and lost to one of my least favorite fighters in Quicksilver so for me his career is highly painful to evaluate... wish he could have had a few more fights of major significance.... seems like he had some difficulty with weight a bit... would love to hear other's opnions

I not sure what to make of him to be honest. He had some solid wins against Lucas, Miller, Stewart and off course he beat McCallum and Michelcheski although they were both past their prime and fighting above their natural weight. That first round TKO loss to Hill was way unexpected. He was a good not great fighter that people don't really talk about to often. I think I will rewatch some of his fights tomorrow. I haven't watched him in years.

On the plus side, he had three title reigns and won titles in two different divisions. On the downside, his resume is awfully sparse in terms of quality opponents.

When he got blown out by Hill in their rematch it looked like that loss would probably define him and that he'd been more or less permanently exposed. Credit to Tiozzo, he slimmed down to 175 where he belonged and he won the championship in a fairly close fight with Silvio Branco.

And after beating Branco he beat Dariusz 'Tiger'. Although Tiger was passed his best it was still a big win and it let him coast smoothly into reitrement with the humiliation of the Hill rematch more or less forgotten.

Good fighter. His brother wasn't too shabby either.

He did more than plenty of guys. Compare him to Billy Joe Saunders or Lucien Bute. Neither matched his resume, but both got the hype.

I’ve not seen much of Christophe.

Ive watched his fight with Jeff Harding which he lost. Any fights of his available on YouTube you’d recommend?

I wouldn't read that much into that win. Michalczewski was past his prime and not even close to the fighter that he once was. It was a good win for Tiozzo that would have meant much more had it happened five years earlier. Same with his win over McCallum.
