    No Glass Cannon can take bombs for 12 rounds from Gassiev. Dorticos is a tough cookie. :chuck:

    If Dortico had even a little head movement it would be a 50/50 fight, but his head is always in the same spot, so it’s only a matter of time before Briedis hits Dorticos right on the button. Briedis isn’t the greatest technician, but he has more than enough power to end any cruiserweight and even most heavyweights if they leave their chin wide open.

    Dorticos made Gassiev look like a prime George Foreman when he’s nowhere close.

    n/m found it, wasn't too widely reported on though, had to dig:

    There still isn’t a new date for the Dorticos vs. Briedis fight right now, but once the organizers for the WBSS tourney gather more information on the current crisis, a new date will be given. For the time being, everything is still too uncertain for the fight to be rescheduled.

    The organizers of the WBSS tourney will stay on top of things and continue monitoring the events.

    This is the second time that the Dorticos vs. Briedis fight has needed to be rescheduled. They were previously set to fight on March 21 in Riga, Latvia, because of the situation.

    The date was then moved to May 16, hoping that would be far enough away for the crisis to abate. However, the Latvian government has a state of emergency now to control the spread of the virus within the country.

    there are tweets from people as recently as last week from people who think may 16th is still the date.

    Gassiev despite his power has horrible timing and telegraphs most of his shots, so most of his punches weren’t landing clean. Only a handful of Gassiev’s punches connected cleanly and fortunately with an opponent like Dortico’s that’s all it took. Every time Gassiev connected clean he hurt Dorticos.

    Did you see Dorticos fight Edison Miranda? Miranda was fat and inactive and showed that Dorticos isn’t very durable.

    Someone like Bellew would’ve ended Dorticos very early, since he has very good timing and punch placement.

    Dorticos beats Breidis but he will get jobbed in Riga. Ain't that big of a fan of Breidis after the Knowacki fiasco - he openly acknowledged going after him when the bell in the post fight interview with a smile on his face and elbowed him intentionally. Scumbag manoeuvres IMO

    He elbowed him after Glowacki (not Kownacki) blatantly rabbit punched him for the second time in that round. It was a fiasco and Glowacki should have got time to recover, but I can't say I feel any sympathy for him.
