Carlos Zarate vs Joltin Jeff Chandler, 15 rounds, 118 lbs, Both Prime

Zarate by late stoppage 13 probably,, he's a notch above

 

Chandler, SD, or close UD.

 

Zarate sometime around the 11th or 12th. It would be a very nice boxing match but Zárate hit so accurately and hard that it’s hard to imagine Chandler withstanding it for 15 rounds and I don’t think Chandler can outbox him though it would be competitive.

 

Zarate late. I saw every one of Chandler's televised bouts and I feel Zarate was a better fighter and I'm a Philadelphia guy.

 

Zarate easily in 5. At the most. Chandler starts whining 45 seconds into round 1.

 

This is it. Chandler is a great fighter for mine but Zarate is a high level great and the assets he brings to the table are very very hard to overcome even for a boxer/puncher like Jeff.

 

But, I must admit, Jeff was a better actor. He was great with Jack Palance in "Sign of the Pagan".

 

Zarate would wreck Chandler in about 7-8. Just a class above.

 

His whining was pretty disgraceful in the Sandoval fight. Which made the beating he received all the more satisfying.

Chandler, to me, definitely had some front runner in him.

 

Zarate would shatter Chandler.
