Any word yet on who he might pick for his opening fight/exebition?

Shannon Briggs Would be interesting, As would Oliver McCall, and Botha.

    But ESPECIALLY Holyfield

Mike will go where the money is if he’s putting in the effort to get down to 230”s of fighting shape ,wouldn’t surprise me if he goes into a MMA fight under boxing rules outside the u.S either ,his trainer who trains MMA fighters and is considered a legend coach says Mike is ready for anyone if chooses to put the work in ,that’s every combat . He said Mike hit the hardest he’s ever worked with and has taught him more about striking then the other way around .

I think once he put the initial statement out there that he was considering some sort of comeback, he was testing the water to see how well it would be received

he’s obviously seeing that is very well received and everyone is interested in seeing what he can do,

It’ll be interesting to see what he does now that he has seen if there is a demand to see him

I think the wisest path he could take would be to take a tuneup against a fairly decent opponent( someone we’ve heard of ) and then follow that up with an epic rematch with Holyfield or possibly a match with “Let’s go champ !” Shannon Briggs

not sure how well Holyfield would be at this point of inactivity, but has been said, Briggs has been fighting a lot more recently and would probably steamroll Tyson

Mccall would be a possibility too, but I don’t think he would bring the demand that Briggs or Holyfield would

People are dreaming. I already know tysons proposed comeback will go nowhere....these guys mentioned will beat him with ease. Hes been out for 15 years...he barely trained 5 years before that 15 years. Was in jail for 3 years before that. Lived the high life for the best part of 20 years.

He should come back only if its not a desperate push for money. Probably wasn,t tbh....but now everyones got involved offering decent money
....needing to get with a promoter that wants to play the long game...otherwise it,ll be over before it gets started.

The first big right he absorbs sends him to the nursing home. Stupid idea.

Just to give an example, I found several heavyweights rated towards the bottom of the top 100 on box rec that were 6 foot and below, with lots of losses. Tyson can beat guys like that.

Tyson needs to rematch Danny Williams and Kevin McBride two fighters he quit against 16 years ago.
