I’d be willing to bet a good chunk of money on a 20 year old Tyson against both Wilder and Joshua, for an early KO at that. Regarding the topic, nothing is impossible, but Tyson’s record is as close to being unbreakable as It can get.
Casuals and their namecalling due to lack of knowledge. Anyone with a decent boxing knowledge could see that any version of Tyson from 86 to 88 was a superior HW to Wilder and Joshua.
One of the main drivers toward Tyson getting a shot so young was Don Kings Heavyweight unification contests. King fought hard to have Tyson included in a round robin of bouts between Title holders and top contenders. Without that round of matches being underway it’s doubtful Tyson would have got his shot so soon.
The two guys he fought before Berbick: Ribalta and Marvis Frazier. No offense to them but they're indicative of how weak that scene was. Ribalta went 10 rounds.
Hughie Shades of Ali Fury thought he would beat the record. https://www.hennessysports.com/news/hughie-fury-i-will-beat-mike-tysons-record-and-be-the-youngest-heavyweight-world-champion
Says the loser who instantly resorts to name calling as soon as someone disagrees with him. Mickey Mouse.
The term fools and their money wasn't exactly name calling, unless you are a sensitive casual that is.
You need to learn the game though, Tyson was trained really young by a genius like D`Amato, stuff he was doing at 20 his opponents had never seen before.
Sorry kid, noone else can claim the title casual when there’s someone who thinks favouring a prime Tyson over Wilder or Joshua is being fool.
